As of the week of July 5, Australia's iron ore weekly imports were 16.2 million tons, less than the previous week's 19.5 million tons of exports.
Port Hedland has a weekly export volume of 9.4 million tons, and BHP Billiton (BHP), Fortescue Metals Group Ltd. and Roy Hill Holdings Pty both export iron ore through the port.
The export of Cape Lambert in the same period was 3.8 million tons.
The port of Dampier has an export volume of 2.7 million tons.
