After an in-depth analysis, BENTELER announced on August 27, 2019, that it would increase its focus on its automotive business. In this context, the BENTELER Distribution Division was sold to the Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group. Following approval by the competition authorities, the divestment was completed on November 29, 2019. The Distribution Division is now part of the Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group.
