The Brazilian Ministry of Commerce said that the daily export volume of Brazilian iron ore in the first 10 days of June could reach 1.47 million tons, while the first five days could reach 1.52 million tons per day.
In June last year, the daily export volume of Brazilian iron ore reached 1.68 million tons, and the total export volume reached 35.3 million tons.
This year, due to the impact of the dam breaks in the Vale and the subsequent stoppage of the mines, the production and export of iron ore in Brazil has been greatly affected.
Earlier, the Brazilian mining minister said that Brazil's iron ore production may fall by 10% this year, and the situation next year is not clear.
Previous April data showed that Brazilian iron ore exports also performed bleak and have fallen to a seven-year low.
