South Korea's Posco Steel (POSCO) released a report showing that in the first quarter of 2019, its stainless steel output was 498,000 tons, up from 467,000 tons in the previous season and 494,000 tons in the same period last year; its stainless steel sales were 50.6 tons. Ten thousand tons, higher than the previous season's 446,000 tons and slightly lower than the 510,000 tons in the same period of last year; the average price of stainless steel fell by 22,000 won / ton.

In addition, its crude steel output increased year-on-year and fell to 9.406 million tons, steel output decreased year-on-year and increased to 9.04 million tons; mainly due to export growth, its steel sales increased by 9.283 million tons, but slightly decreased year-on-year. Among them, the domestic ratio fell to 55.3%, the world's top quality products (WTP) accounted for 29.7%, and its sales increased to 7.718 trillion won; its operating profit was due to carbon steel and stainless steel. The decline fell to 833 billion won, and the operating profit margin also fell to 10.7% from the previous month; its net profit reached 671 billion won, a year-on-year decline and a turnaround.
